From years 1999 to 2001, the Greatest Show on Turf lit up the scoreboards of the National Football League and brought the center of football to Edward Jones Dome, the home of the Super Bowl XXXIV champion, St. Louis Rams.
Previously known as the Trans World Dome, Edward Jones Dome is a multi-function sports and recreational arena located in St. Louis, Missouri. The dome was constructed I 1995 in order to bring back football to the city of St. Louis. This stadium can be configured multiple times and can seat up to 70,000 fans.
Aside from hosting St. Louis Rams home games, the dome is also a venue for concerts, theater productions, fairs, and conventions. It also hosts collegiate sports such as Big 12 Conference Football Championships and NCAA Men?s Basketball Regionals. The dome is also notable for hosting the visit of then-pope John Paul II.
