Zodiac Records, Inc.

Record company founded by M. David Bell in 1973 in Torrance, California, USA. In September 1973, Zodiac acquired Mega Records & Tapes, Inc., of Nashville, Tennessee, and its Mega (2) imprint, along with publishing companies 100 Oaks Music, Two Rivers Music, Astralite Music and Excelite Music. In 1976, Len Levy was named president and a Los Angeles office was established along with Nashville's. The company ceased operations in 1978. For the label, see Zodiac (21).
