Disctronics H
Настоящее имя: Disctronics H
Disctronics manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama, operating under this name from 1988 - 1990. For releases pressed at this plant the matrix runout commonly seen is: MADE BY DISCTRONICS (H)
An (H) in the matrix runout indicates the disc was pressed at the Huntsville location.
If the matrix runout does not include an (H) please check if it belongs to an alternative Disctronics plant profile.
Explaining a typical matrix, example:
MADE BY DISCTRONICS (H) W.O. 123456-1 ABCD1234
The internal identifier for their CD's is the "W.O." (Work Order) number seen in the matrix, followed by a dash and the master cut number; in the example above it is: 123456-1. Following the W.O. number is the customer (normally catalogue) number; in the example above it is: ABCD1234.
Please note that when entering the unique identifier to the LCCN field for this company, the work order number should be entered without the cut number. For example, if the work order number is 123456-1, only "123456" is required to be entered in to the LCCN field. It is unnecessary to include the remaining cut number, in this case "-1", because even if the disc was repressed, it will normally still retain the original work order number of 123456, but have successive cut numbers thereafter.
On January 15, 1988, after a period of negotiations with the Quixote Corporation, Disctronics Limited purchased its two Laservideo Inc. plants (Huntsville and Anaheim) which then became known as Disctronics Manufacturing, Inc.
After Disctronics failed to pay the remaining balance after the sale, both plants were acquired back by the Quixote Corporation on April 30, 1990, where the name was then changed from Disctronics Manufacturing, Inc., to Disc Manufacturing, Inc.
