Superior (5)
Настоящее имя: Superior (5)
U.S. record label produced from 1930-1932 by the Gennett Records division of the Starr Piano Company of Richmond, Indiana. The first Superior records were released in December, 1930, the same month that saw the final commercial Gennett Records releases. The Superior label drew on Starr Piano Company masters exclusively, and often duplicated material on Starr's Champion (5) label. Gennett Records material was also reissued, usually under artist pseudonyms, on the Superior label. Superior was discontinued in June, 1932. At this low point of the Great Depression, record sales were in the low hundred for many issues, and one release sold only 19 copies.
