Jazz club founded in 1978 by Mike Uitz, Herbert Straub and Fritz Otto at a former railroad workers corner pub. During the first years the programm was mostly Free Jazz. Later the schedule became more diversified. Today the routine is firmly rooted on the more mainstrean side of Jazz. The first location was in Haidhausen, Kirchenstr.96. Since 1998 the club has a new address at the MUG (Münchner Untergrund – Munich Underground). At present (2018 - and for many years before) it is the only club in Munich which offers a daily programming of Jazz with international and local musicians.
