For the Record Company use: Cretaphon Ε.Π.Ε. Until 1983 this label was know as: Ψηλορείτης. (In many releases only company is present, not the label) Label, Music Store and Online Store specialized in Cretan Music. Founted in 1965 by Κώστας Φραγκάκης established at Herakleion, Crete, Greece. With more than 400 productions and a recording studio: Studio Cretaphon since 1974 Cretaphon has collaborations with well known artists such as: Αθανάσιος Σκορδαλός, Γιώργος Αβυσσηνός, Αλεφαντινοί In company's interest was, is and will be the attraction of young artists in Cretan music, in order to preserve tradition, almost at any cost. Currently ran by Κώστας Φραγκάκης and his son Γιάννης Φραγκάκης.
