Ultraphone U

The Compagnie Ultraphone Française ("Ultraphone") was born from the merger of the German company Deutsche Ultraphon AG and the Société Nobel Française. It was created in january 1931 as an independant phonographic brand. After the demise of the Deutsche Ulptraphon AG in the summer of 1931, Ultraphone kept working with Telefunken AG, who bought the remainings of the Deutsche Ultraphon AG, by releasing some of its matrices in France, but Telefunken was not an important share holder. The French Ultraphone company was dissolved in May 1939.
