Island Records Manufacturing Ltd
Настоящее имя: Island Records Manufacturing Ltd
Previously part of EMI's plant at Hayes, Island Records' own dedicated record pressing plant (and occasionally contracted for other labels), operating as "Island Records Manufacturing Ltd" from 18th Dec 1974 until December 1977; then sold to WEA and renamed to WEA Records Pressing Plant, West Drayton.
The company itself was established on 30 April 1974 and dissolved in 1991.
Pressings (or repressings from existing masters) can be recognised by etched identifiers in the run-out area: "I - #" or "Ⅰ-#", where # is a number (mother) - often in association with a 'Plated By' E.G. credit (Eddy Gorecki).
