Hatix

Hatix is a dutch Freestyle label once managed by Michel Stuivenberg (for some people better known under de name "Darkcontroller" (he nowadays produces for Partyraiser Records) & Bart Sloot ( better known as Dj Bartello, and nowadays as Dj Atticus). The exceptional name of the label has been created by Stuivenberg after a conflict with Jayant Edoo, one of the founders of "80 Aum Records". Jayant swindled Stuivenberg and Rob Stigter with the first and the last track on tricky tracks. Because of this Stuivenberg considered the name Hate and completed the name with something additional he made up; "ix" = Hatix, so this is were the origin of the name came from. HATIX 001, 002 & 004 have been released on different coloured transparent vinyl and were in fact illegal pressings wich contained several hardcore remixes of pop tracks. The second Hatix "Apotheosis - Dark Symphony EP" became an instant hit and is still very wanted. Later on remixed by DJ Outblast and released on a 10" Masters Of Hardcore special, with this all the licensing and publishing of this track moved to "Art Of Dance". HATIX 003 is not in the catalogue because this spot was reserved after plans to make this a slipmat-set for the Hatix label. Unfortunately the idea of this has never been worked out into a real product. HATIX 001 LTD & 005 have never made it to the Shops( only white labels) HATIX 006 has been fully licensed. Hatix Records Returns in spring/summer 2016 and will continue with catalog number 007. Dj Wicked & Dj Atticus will lead this Label and try to Keep the concept as it was in the old days.
