Founded in 1929/30, the company AECO of the Swabian inventor Albert Ebner in Bad Cannstatt produced turntables, electric motors, vacuum cleaners, fans and cameras. His Electromusic GmbH in Vaihingen initially experimented with unbreakable plastic records, then shellac records were produced.
In the 1930s, the label Elton was pressed as a cheap department store records.
In addition to own recordings for the Electromusik GmbH, matrices were also taken over by Clangor.
In addition to the Elton label, Electromusik GmbH also produced many small editions as well as private pressings for local artists.
