Mladý Svět
Настоящее имя: Mladý Svět
Czech weekly youth magazine (Young World). First issue released on January 5, 1959. Terminated in May 2005.
In the 1960s Mladý svět occasionally acted as a Supraphon co-label (the Big Beat Supraphon series). Later an edition series was established, Diskotéka Mladého Světa (Young World Discotheque), maintained mainly by Supraphon in collaboration with the magazine editorial staff, and released preferentially for the magazine readers. Mladý svět was also the initiator and organizer of the annual “Zlatý Slavík” (Golden Nightingale) vocalist contest, based on readers’ postcard voting.
Note: many other releases outside of the series were also released in collaboration with the magazine, usually credited as “vydáno ve spolupráci s Mladým světem”, but without the Diskotéka Mladého Světa logo. These can be credited as “Marketed By – Mladý Svět”.
