Recording and mastering studio located associated with Petrucci & Atwell, founded in August 1965 by Bob Petrucci and Charles Atwell. It was originally based in Newton, and soon thereafter Boston, Massachusetts (USA). The studio full set-up with Ampex equipment, designed by Bolt Beranek and Newman, was completed in April 1967.
The studio specialized in recording groups, many in the jazz and folk-rock genres, but also did radio commercials, theatrical sound recordings and film soundtracks (mainly for Univision Corporation).
In the early '70s, the studio became Intermedia Sound, Boston and later Syncro Sound.
