Maxis

Maxis is an US video game studio founded in 1987 by Will Wright and Jeff Braun, part of Electronic Arts since 1997. It is best known for its simulation games, including The Sims and SimCity. In 2015 the studio in Emeryville, CA was closed, however, the brand is still in use.
