Recording studio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada established by Wes Dakus in 1972 and operating until 1987. Official name was Sundown Recorders, Ltd.
Also referred to as Sundown, Edmonton and Sundown Studios, Edmonton.
Prior to Dakus' ownership the studio operated as Park Lane Studios Edmonton under different owners. When Dakus moved away from Edmonton in the early 1990s local musician [a3817211] was able to rescue 77 master tapes and donated them to The Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1992 - however, many more were destroyed because he could not store them all.
