International Sound, Inc.

International Sound, Inc. (IS) recording studio formed circa April 1961 after the purchase of Sound Enterprises, Inc. International's owners include Motion Pictures Producers Associations, Charles A. Bormen serving as the recording studios board chairman and Microsound, Inc.'s Richard A. Livingston as International's president. Dick Friesen was named VP and GM in October 1963. Friesen was previously President of Neophon Recording Studios which has been operating at IS's studio and will continue to direct Neophon. Leo Kulka VP and GM will remain as VP and Chief Engineer.
