Firma van Øgl

Swiss fictional “company”. A tongue-in-cheek name used by van Øgl alias Lukáš Machata in 1996–1999 as an attempt to consolidate his four professional and self-employed activities at that time: graphic design, DJ, mobile recording studio and live sound engineering, and guitar teaching. However the idea of “Firma van Øgl” was meant to be more a self-ironical act of conceptual art, rather than an actual intention to run a real company. See also: Consou M'Teem Pelh Produkt
