Chappelle And Stinnette Record

U.S. record label (ca. 1922-1923). This label was produced by at least two manufacturers for the C&S Phonograph Record Company. This was a short-lived venture launched by the black vaudeville team of Thomas Chappelle and Juanita Stinnette Chappelle. All but one of the nine known releases on this label feature performances by Chappelle and Stinnette. Earliest issues were pressed by The Arto Company and bear the slogan "Singers Supreme". Later issues have black, white and gold labels and credit the C&S Phonograph Record Company
