International Automated Media
Настоящее имя: International Automated Media
Originally started in '74 / '75 as a recording studio, International Automated Media branched out to mastering in the spring of 1978 when they hired Bruce Leek. Bruce and Richard Donaldson were the only engineers who cut there - with the bulk going to Bruce as Richard was the tech for the whole studio. IAM changed to Soundome around 1983 when a lawsuit from the International Association of Machinists' union ( who worked at Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Scranton ) forced the company to change its name.
Also identifiable by "IAM", "I.A.M. Studios", "I.A.M. Studios, Irvine", " IAM Studios, Costa Mesa, CA", "I.A.M. Mastering Lab" or "IAM Cutting Center" which were all variations used by International Automated Media to avoid the lawsuit mentioned above. Also printed as simply, Automated Media.
Runout etching guidance
- AIM use 'Mastered At'
- AIM RD (or RD½ or RLD) use 'Lacquer Cut At" with 'Lacquer Cut By' Richard Donaldson with ANV
