Industrial Strength

Industrial Strength Recording Studio was an 8 and 16 track facility located at 48 West 27th Street in New York City. It was in business from 1983-1986. Its principals were John Cousins, Michael Overn and Bruce Tovsky. It evolved out of the studio equipment rental business, Lords of Electronics, owned by Cousins/Overn and the NYC-based music video television show, New Music +, produced by Cousins/Overn/Tovsky.
