Liverpool Stadium was a purpose-built boxing arena situated on St Paul's Square, Bixteth Street in Liverpool, England. The Stadium has a colorful past. A platform for the speeches of Oswald Mosley, venue for a Conservative election campaign led by Churchill, a wrestling & boxing ring, a hotbed of Larry Parnes and Liverpudlian acts and a live concert hall for the likes of Hawkwind, Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa.
