Direct Hit Records

Direct Hit Records est. 1989 Direct Hit started as a retail record store in Dallas, Texas by Kelly (Keys) Handran. The store was located in the historic Exposition Park arts district. Through the record store, an independent record label was established to publish local musicians. Most bands are now defunct, as is the Record Store and Label, but the history captured is a time capsule of the Era. After Dallas, Texas the label relocated first to Garland, Texas then to San Francisco, California.
