Drei Masken Verlag

German publisher of dramatic and musical works. Founded by Ludwig Friedmann in Munich in 1910 to publish dramatic plays and music for the theater, the publisher soon created branch offices in Berlin and Vienna. In 1920, Friedmann added a music division and started to publish all kinds of music. In 1934, the Nazis "aryanized" the company and split off the music division under the name "Dreiklang‒Drei Masken". Now part of "Dreiklang-Dreimasken Bühnen- und Musikverlag", the music division continues to operate in Berlin. Also appears as Drei-Masken-Verlag 3 Masken Verlag
