Airship Studios

UK recording studio in Bognor Regis, England. They had the label Airship. Set up by Jim Brooks in 1978. After enrol on a short course at Surrey University to learn about audio and recording technology and successfully completing the course he set about converting two rooms in his own living house. One room would be the control room and an adjoining smaller room would be the performance room / studio. Then he bought the best studio gear he wanted and could afford and as the facilities became ever more popular, Sam Small joined the Airship Studios as full time engineer and soon, became a much sought after producer. Today the studio is closed down, but Jim Brooks still lives there. Defunct.
