Graetz

German industrial company, started in 1866 with the production of flammable gas and oil lamps, but was known in the 1950 / 60s by the development of radios, televisions and music boxes. In 1961, Erich Graetz sold the company with thirteen production sites, including the Bochum site, to Standard Elektrik Lorenz (SEL) AG. The brand name with a good reputation was preserved.
