US label from Detroit owned by Morris Kaplan. Tommy Moers was the A&R man and chief producer of the 1960-65 operation of Danceland Records. The first operating period of Danceland Records was 1948-51, owned and operated by Sammy Kaplan and Ed Kaplan's father, Morris Kaplan. Morris had started the distributorship.
