SBS Studios

Solid Bond Studios was previously Philips' recording studio, aka Phonogram Studios, located at Stanhope House, Stanhope Place, London W2, around the corner from Marble Arch off the Bayswater Road. It was bought by Paul Weller of the Jam and Style Council in 1983. They used the Polygram and Neve desks until 1985 when an SSL 4000E was installed. The Neve 8 into 2 from the Philips days was set up in the copy room and the Phonogram desk put into storage.
