Kudan Kaikan, Tokyo

Multipurpose complex in Tokyo, Japan containing three concert halls, a wedding chapel, restaurants, and hotel accommodation. It opened in 1934 as a facility for members of the armed forces, when it was known as the Gunjin Kaikan. It took the name Kudan Kaikan in 1953. It closed on April 12, 2011 following the collapse of a ceiling that killed two people during the earthquake of March 2011.
