One engineer who operated this remote facility was Mark Pinske.
When first purchased, the old Beach Boys mobile unit was a wreck. The Neve console & truck were refurbished and engineer George Douglas (2) built a 150-channel snake/splitter system, with 102 channels available in the truck. A Midas console was installed at right angles to the Neve, with two additional Carvin boards, along with AKG dynamic and condenser microphones. This system was on the road for the 1981 tour.
