World First Appearance

Japanese vinyl series that run for 23 albums, all released in 1979, presenting materials from the "classic Blue Note" period still unissued at that time (worldwide first release). Almost all were reissued in the early 1980s with different catalog # (i.e. GXK 81xx) in the Unissued Masters Series Part 1. All albums come with a blue&black OBI, were priced ¥1,800 and have unique cover design (often illustrated by Toshio Fujiyama)
