Jazz nightclub in Boston, opened in September 1950 by George Wein.
Named after the Storyville district in New Orleans, the club was host to the biggest names in Jazz during the 1950s.
Originally located downstairs at the Copley Square Hotel. The club moved to the Hotel Buckminster in Kenmore Square in February 1951, and moved back to the Copley Square Hotel in 1953, though this time located at street-level. In 1959 the club moved one final time, to the Bradford Hotel on Tremont St. where it was open for one final year until George Wein shut it down due to his workload involved with organizing the Newport Jazz Festival.
