The Lighthouse, Hermosa Beach

US nightclub located in Hermosa Beach, California opened in 1949, and active as a jazz showcase until late 1970s. Also known as Lighthouse Café. During the 1950s bassist Howard Rumsey became the manager and put together a house band called the Lighthouse All-Stars or Howard Rumsey's Lighthouse All-Stars.
