Prestige 50th Anniversary Special Commemorative Edition

Limited edition remastered CD reissue series started in 1999 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishing of Bob Weinstock's Prestige label. The releases were limited to 10,000 copies and given a dedicated remastering. Releases were mastered in analog utilizing the 20-Bit K2 Super Coding System, remastered by Shigeo Miyamoto under the supervision of Tamaki Beck for JVC Studios. Releases came in a cardboard slip-case. Releases from 1999 have the Prestige 50th Anniversary Special Commemorative Edition text on them while releases after 1999 continue all the series attributes, design, and technology, but without the anniversary text line. These same remasters were used for the 1999 Japanese reissue series.
