Sonic Arts (2)
Настоящее имя: Sonic Arts (2)
Digital authoring, mastering, transfer and duplication company, located in London, with an office in New York.
Sonic Arts Ltd. was founded in January 1997 by recording engineer Avi Landenberg and chartered accountant Robert Alan Lipman.
Between 1999 and 2001, the UK studio also used a Neumann VMS 80 lathe (previously with Decca Studios).
Simon Hitner was the only lacquer cutting engineer (with Avi Landenberg doing occasional lacquer cuts as well).
The vinyl cuts can be identified by "@ SONIC" etched into the runouts.
CD authoring credits are listed under Sonic Arts Ltd.
The UK company was dissolved in August 2014.
The US company, Sonic Arts, Inc., was incorporated in July 2003 by Avi Landenberg and appears to be still active.
Not to be confused with Leo Kulka's San Francisco mastering studio Sonic Arts.
