Historically, there were studios at:
- 264 Pitt Street (Broadcast House), five floors
- 250 Pitt Street (National Building), eight floors
- 96 Market Street, three floors. When the ABC took over the 2FC facilities they mainly used these studios in Market Street for drama, talks and children's programs. New studio complex built within Her Majesty'sTheatre building. Remained major studios for ABC up to 1970.
- 50 Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross. Sydney Symphony Orchestra's rehearsal studio, over Woolworth's, one floor (orchestral studio). This was in a building in Darlinghurst Road on the first and second floors running through to Kellett Street, occupied on the ground floor by a Woolworths Variety Store. First ABC TV broadcast from here. The location of Studio 227.
- 171 William Street (talks, etc.), five floors. Building known as Chard House acquired by ABC in 1945 to accommodate expanding production facilities. It was located adjacent to Forbes Street studios. The location of ABC Studio 210, Sydney, ABC Studio 211, ABC Studio 221, 2JJ Studios and 2JJJ Studios until 1991.
- 191 William Street (State News Service), four floors
- 184 Forbes Street, Darlinghurst. The ABC main radio complex in Sydney before Ultimo, containing a number of studios and also Master Control switching facilities
One of the Pitt St studios was the first 2FC radio studio built on the roof of the Farmer's and Co building. Replaced by Market St studios in 1928.
