Initially located in Paris (rue d'Hauteville), new, state of the art studios were built in Viilletaneuse in 1975 and renamed Studios Sidney Bechet when they opened in 1977/1978.
The studios became inactive in the second half of the '80s until 1997 when sound engineer Yann Noël and musician Jérôme Frulin restored them and restarted activity as Midilive.
Some releases recorded under Midilive management of the studios may credit the legacy name Studios Vogue.
