Powow Fun Room

Recording studio owned and operated by Pete Curry. Located in Culver City, CA but sometimes listed as Los Angeles, CA or even Mar Vista, CA on rare occasions. Artists such as The Neanderthals, Los Straitjackets, Eddie Angel, Deke Dickerson, ¡Panamericans!, João Erbetta, Ron Dziubla, Daedelus, Los Venturas, Jay Hardtke & The Irregulars, and Kim Lenz And The Jaguars have recorded at the studio. Los Straitjackets recorded footage for their music videos for the songs "Space Mosquito" and "Jet Set" in the studio. R.J. & The Del Guapos also recorded their video for "Kristina" in the studio. Facilities contain Studer A80 2" 16-track tape machine. Sometimes credited as Pow Wow Fun Room, or Pete Curry's Pow Wow Fun Room. Signs inside the studio are written as "Powow Fun Room". Pete Curry has owned and operated his own recording studio in various incarnations over the years, including Willie's Garage.
