Gaga Goodies

Gaga Goodies is a Finnish label, founded in 1987 by Kimmo Miettinen. The label was established to release Finnish indie rock with English lyrics and without keyboards. The only exceptions to the rule were Mana Mana and the first 7" by the Kosmonauts. 50% of the label was owned by Miettinen and 50% by Epe Helenius. For the first ten years Miettinen was responsible for the A & R while Helenius and Poko Rekords financed, manufactured and distributed the releases. In 1998 Miettinen sold his share of the label to Helenius and Poko Rekords. At that point only two bands remained on the label: Hybrid Children and The 69 Eyes.
