First record company of Austria's biggest label Amadeo. The company was founded in April, 1st, 1956 and changed into Amadeo Österreichische Schallplatten Aktiengesellschaft in 1959. In The beginning lots of the Austrian releases were licensed by Vanguard in the US or licensed to Amadeo for the Austrian market.
