Publishing entity. Sometimes as : - HEC Music - H.E.C. Music HEC Music was set up to handle the publishing of all original Deep Purple's compositions and appeared on all UK record labels from ‘Shades Of Deep Purple’ through to ‘Who Do We Think We Are!’ although an additional ‘Feldman’ appeared alongside Hec Music on the ‘Machine Head’, ‘Made In Japan’ and ‘Who Do We Think We Are!’ labels. On the later of these labels, Hec Music is sometimes shown as Hec Music Ltd, but it was never legally registered as a UK limited company. ‘B. Feldman & Co. Ltd’ was however, an established music publishing company launched in 1946, so perhaps they were providing the legitimate publishing services for Hec Music...?
