L'Alhambra

L'Alhambra was a French music-hall located at 50, rue de Malte in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Officially opened in August 11, 1866. In 1956, the music-hall is renamed Alhambra-Maurice Chevalier by its then-owner Jane Breteau. After her sudden death in May 1967, L'Alhambra closed its doors for the last time and was demolished the same year. A new concert venue named Alhambra was inaugurated in April 2008 and is located 21, rue Yves-Toudic in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, only 300 meters away from its predecessor's former location.
