L'Équipe Spectra

Founded in Montreal in 1977 (originally as Spectra Scène Ltée) by Alain Simard, André Ménard (2) and Denyse McCann, L'Équipe Spectra has contributed to an array of major productions and events including: popular events such as the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Les FrancoFolies de Montréal and the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival, that celebrate music, the arts and gastronomy; a variety of stage productions, conceived and developed for touring purposes; Spectra Musique, a disc label featuring both emerging stars and big names on the local and international scenes; the Maison du Festival Rio Tinto Alcan, a cultural complex housing a live showroom, bistro, jazz resource centre and cinémathèque, gallery, an exhibition hall and a boutique, right in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles in Montreal; an artists' agency representing artists on the Québec and French cultural scenes; three concert halls: Métropolis, Le Savoy and L'Astral; a complete service for organizing corporate events and cultural sponsorship.
