Star Series (3)
Настоящее имя: Star Series (3)
The Perfect (3) Star Series was a variation on the standard Perfect (3) label introduced in early 1925 as a way of marketing Pathé Phonograph & Radio Corp.'s higher-priced popular stars. The Star Series reportedly sold for slightly higher prices than ordinary Perfect releases. Most of the early releases were renumberings of previous issues of Cliff Edwards and Lee Morse records. Although these two artists account for the vast majority of Star Series releases, a few other performers were featured, including Norton H. Payne, Stephen Crawford and Leo Le Sieur. The series was discontinued in October, 1927 after just over 100 releases.
