Jay-Bar-Kay Records

Jay-Bar-Kay was the creation of Ken Anderson, who had recorded for Hi-Hat and MacGregor and conducted square dance workshops in Albany, Glens Falls and Rochester (all NY). Most Jay-Bar-Kay singles had a song with caller on the A-side and just the instrumental track on the B-side. Anderson and his company were located in Newtonville, a suburb of Albany, NY. All releases were recorded at Vibra-Sound Studios in Schenectady, NY. The company was in business from 1970 into the 1980's.
