The BMI publishing house owned and operated by the father of Paul Anka, Andy Anka. The associated ASCAP publishing house was called "Flanka". As noted on page 4 of the 2 July 1966 issue of Billboard: "The firms, which were founded in 1958, had been based largely on songs written by Paul Anka, Andy Anka's son.
