Casa Del Popolo

Casa Del Popolo (The House of the People) is a café, music venue, resto-bar and art gallery in Montréal, Quebec. Established in 2000 by Godspeed You Black Emperor! bassist Mauro Pezzente and his partner Kiva Stimac, it is located across the street from La Sala Rossa (with which it is associated) on Saint Laurent in the Borough of Le Plateau-Mont-Royal. Casa Del Popolo caters to indie rock musicians, and is recognized as comparable to New York's CBGB.
