Original Masters (3)

Series part of the label Deutsche Grammophon, devoted to the reissue of recordings, mainly from the mono sound era. The series is conceived on the dual premise of presenting a logical grouping of historical repertoire of a single great DG artist. A significant amount of the recordings in each box appear for the first time internationally on CD. The cover artwork sets original sketches of the artists in designs reminiscent of the style of the Fifties. The booklets contain newly commissioned liner notes alongside full documentation of the original recordings and their release, including photos and covers. There are 275 individual CDs spanning 54 distinct titles in total. This is a DG series, not a label on it's own. Only add it in series field, together with the actual label of the release.
