Les Cousins Music was founded in 2007 by Mark Pavey (2). He started the company in order to help the legend Davy Graham re-emerge on the music scene.
The company was named after the legendary folk club Les Cousins, in Soho London, which was the spiritual home of the British Folk scene between 1965-1972, playing host to talents as diverse as Jackson C Frank, Bert Jansch, Sandy Denny, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.
Les Cousins Music manage produce and tour. It now represents artists in the World "Folk, Blues and Beyond" tradition with creators such as Beverley Martyn, The Dark Philosophers, Michael Watts, Matt Malley, Duck Baker and Laike signed to their label "Les Cousins".
The company also owns a music studio (called "Acoustic Mastering") with extensive audio/video/web/print design facilities.
