Canadian label from Toronto, Ontario. Established in 1979 by Dixon Propas Management (a.k.a. Dixon-Propas Productions Inc.), the company owned by veteran Canadian promoters Neill Dixon and Steve Propas. It was officially launched on March 28, 1980. The publishing arm was Solid Gold Publishing. It was active until 1985 and Dixon sold his interest to Propas in 1986, who transferred it to KOCH Entertainment (where he would later become VP International). Koch continues to own 50% of the publishing catalogue and masters, the other half owned by Casablanca Media Acquisitions (parent company of Casablanca Media Publishing Inc.)
