Hardcore Techno Breakbeat label by Burty Bakarak (RIP) and Martin Poison, distributed by Underground Music. Poison wanted to start a label & release some killer tunes by his friends. Bakarak had the name and artwork concept already commissioned by a Techno label which never happened, so a few tweaks & discussions later Meat Hook was rolling.. Time to contact Mr Underground regarding cutting the plates.. A short time later the meaty carcass was popping up everywhere, with HOOK001 currently enjoying a bit of a renaissance in 2021. HOOK002 reached test press stage, and features music by Ely Muff, The Reaper, Las Vegas 909 and Sadistician. Burty Bakarak sadly passed away in 2018. Meat Hook Recordings remains in respectful hiatus.
