Graphic Recording

1970s-1980s label from Warrensburg, Missouri. Appears on labels as "Graphic Recording," "Graphic," and "Graphic Records." Associated with recording engineer Dave McQuitty and Dick Brown (6). In the early days, it was based out of Warrensburg, Missouri and was a recording outlet for Dave McQuitty's band The Broadway Clique. It also made recordings for bluegrass, folk, and country artists from Missouri and Arkansas. In 1983, Dave McQuitty moved the label to Kansas City, Kansas where he ran United Recording Studios, Kansas City and United Entertainment Music and managed several midwest bands in the genres of new wave, power pop, and alternative rock.
